Referral form for persons who may be stateless

If you are or may be stateless and would like to get legal advice from Asylum Aid at Migrants Resource Centre, please complete as much of the below form as you can. We will contact you as soon as we can after receiving the form.

Please note: Asylum Aid generally cannot represent persons who are detained, unless they were our clients prior to being detained (and even then, only in some cases). If you are in detention, you should speak to a lawyer who has a contract to represent detainees at that detention centre. If that lawyer says they cannot assist you with a statelessness application, you may wish to contact Asylum Aid or the Liverpool Law Clinic to see if we can help you.  We will treat this information as confidential and not share with any other party.

We will use the information you provide to assess whether we may be able to assist you with legal advice and to contact you about providing legal advice. The data will not be used for other purposes.

  • Please answer as many of these questions as you can. If you don’t know, please write ‘don’t know’ or ‘DK’. If any question asks for information which is too private to share on this form, you may leave blank or write ‘private’.
  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
